ABOUT THE CAR:
After the booming success of the iconic Mustang at home in the mid 1960's, Ford began looking to expand the pony car's market overseas. In Germany, however, automobile company Krupp already owned the name "Mustang". Instead of buying the branding from Krupp, Ford opted to re-brand all Mustangs shipped to Germany with the name "T-5". All badges were changed, and the famous equine Mustang itself was also removed.
